For tomorrow you are learning about one of the most influential books of all time. Written by an English immigrant named Thomas Paine, Common Sense was the best selling book of all time in the American colonies...

Here is what you will need to do tonight:

• Using the document from last night's homework answer the questions for Common Sense by watching the video here. Start at minute 37:18 and watch until 42:07.
• Next, go to EDMODO and pull off the Common Sense document. You are reading famous passages from Common Sense, you need to put these into simple language that even a third grader could understand. Let's see what you come up with tomorrow!
