There are a THREE things you need to make sure you have completed tonight:

1. Have you contacted your stock team? You need to make sure you have your money in play for your portfolio. You need to be as close to $0 in buying power as possible.

2. Dropbox - Getting Organized. Last grade of the first quarter. You need to have the following items in your Unit 2 Stocks folder in Dropbox by tomorrow:

3. Create a word document titled: 18bmarkwaldCOINS. Put your name where mine was, okay?

NOW - Visit the Virtual Money Museum.You will go to these tabs: Coins and Other Forms of Payment.
For the COINS page: go to and click COINS OF EARLY ORIGIN:
  • What is a Widow's Mite?
  • What do you see on the Byzantine Folles?
  • What is the story with the She Wolf and the Twins?
  • What usefulness is found with the Money Tree of Morrocco?
  • Notice anything different about the Pan Liang?

Now, go to the OTHER FORMS OF PAYMENT page and then PRIMITIVE MONEY and:

  • Choose 4 forms of "money" from the past and describe them...
