1. King Phillip's War - this is the first real war between Englishmen and native people in what we call today New England. Remember, King Phillip is really Metacom, a Wampanoag sachem (chief). He is the son of Massasoit, the same sachem who existed peacefully with Plymouth for decades. Fighting happens all over the Massachusetts Bay and Plymouth colonies, as well as other colonies like New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Connecticut. Please view King Phillip's War and The Wars End (this follows King Phillip's War in the video). and complete the chart provided below.
