b. After reading this assignment - List at least 10 different services and public facilities that are offered by all levels of government in this great country.

c. Not in the reading – BUT, why do you think these services are provided by government and not by private businesses?

d. Probably the most important role the government has in the economy is as a REGULATOR. What does this word mean?

e. Jot down a list of different ways the government regulates activity in our economy.

f. Explain the difference between a public facility or service and the government providing for someone’s well being.
